Matter Journey & filing bundle
LiveA matter's stages from opening the file to the bundle, finished by the work itself — and a filing bundle PDF stamped with annexure numbers.
- ✓Twelve ordered stages, each finished by its condition
- ✓Stages that do not apply are skipped, with the reason
- ✓Research stage offers one research workflow per accepted question
- ✓Matter bundle in a set order or by the document's own date
What it is.
The Matter Journey is a workflow with stages in order: open the file, read it, understand it, review contradictions, triage gaps, ask the client, research, draft, client review, lawyer review, bundle and follow-up. A stage finishes when its condition holds — the last contradiction reviewed, the last document read — so the journey reflects the work rather than ticks. Stages that do not apply, such as asking the client when nothing was asked, are skipped.
The filing bundle is built from the matter: evidence, correspondence and court orders by default, in the order you set or by the document's own date. Missing required items stop the build unless you force it, which marks them "[to be annexed]". The PDF stamps "ANNEXURE A-n" and "Page n of N".
Three steps.
End to end.
One journey per matter; it opens at the first stage.
Stages finish on their own as the reading, review, drafting and approvals happen.
Order the documents, check what is missing, and export the stamped PDF.

Quick answers.
Stages finish when their condition holds; client steps can only be completed for the client with an override and a note.
Yes, rendered as text annexures in a Latin-script font.

Read the matter's documents once into verified facts, then get issues, claims, contradictions, evidence gaps and a chronology — every row yours to edit.
Read a court order into its directions and next hearing; deadlines are computed only from dates the order states, otherwise marked "requires review".
Draft from the matter's verified facts, with every factual sentence linked to its source, a deterministic check, and a lawyer → client → approved review chain.
Workflows for a legal notice, a cheque-bounce (s.138) matter and a consumer complaint — due dates computed from facts you enter, each with the rule stated.
