Client portal
LiveShare a matter, a workflow, a document or a draft with the client; they sign in with a one-time link, upload evidence, answer questions and approve drafts.
- ✓Scoped shares of a matter, workflow run, contract, case analysis or bundle
- ✓Magic-link sign-in to the contact's address on file — fifteen minutes, one use
- ✓Revocation takes effect on the next request; moving a matter to another client revokes its shares
- ✓Client uploads stored as evidence on the matter
What it is.
A share gives one client contact a defined scope on one thing — a matter, a workflow run, a contract, a case analysis or a bundle. The contact signs in with a magic link sent to the email address on file, valid for fifteen minutes and usable once; the landing link alone is not a credential. Every portal request re-reads the shares, so revoking one takes effect immediately.
Inside, the client sees progress as labels, statuses and due dates — never internal notes or who is assigned. They can upload documents against an evidence request, answer the questions a workflow asks of them, and approve or ask for changes on a draft you sent them, with the decision recorded against the exact text they were shown. An answer from the client is an unverified fact until a lawyer accepts it, and internal documents such as a hearing brief can never be sent.
Three steps.
End to end.
Pick the contact and what they may do: view progress, upload, answer questions, approve a draft.
A one-use, fifteen-minute link to the contact's email address on file opens a portal session.
Uploads land on the matter as evidence; answers wait for a person to accept them before any due date changes.

Quick answers.
No. They see what the share's scope allows — the documents shared, the progress of shared work, the drafts sent to them. Internal workflows such as hearing preparation are never shared.
Not in the portal yet. Downloads use short-lived links.
More in Clients & Matters.
Internal threads for the team, client threads the client reads in the portal, and one history of every channel.
A client is a record with contacts, not a name typed on a matter — and duplicates merge without losing anything.
Build an intake form, publish it on a public link, and every submission becomes a triaged intake request.
