Intake forms
LiveBuild an intake form, publish it on a public link, and every submission becomes a triaged intake request.
- ✓Public forms on a token link, rate-limited for anonymous callers
- ✓Internal forms for colleagues
- ✓Submissions captured as intake requests with triage
- ✓Internal / external requester marked on every request
What it is.
Design a form with the questions you need and publish it. A public form gets a link built on a random token, not your organisation's name; unpublishing closes it and re-publishing brings the same link back. An internal form is filled by signed-in colleagues and has no public door.
Every submission goes through the same capture path as a typed intake request — triaged, audited and queued — and is marked internal or external depending on who filed it. Internal Legal Requests on the desk is the internal filter of that queue. Answers are stored by field key, checked against the form as it stands, and unknown fields are dropped.
Three steps.
End to end.
Add questions; a field's key never changes once given.
Share the public link, or keep the form internal.
Each submission arrives as an intake request, triaged and ready to route or promote into a matter.
What you get.
- ✓Public forms on a token link, rate-limited for anonymous callers
- ✓Internal forms for colleagues
- ✓Submissions captured as intake requests with triage
- ✓Internal / external requester marked on every request
- ✓Answers validated against the current form; unknown keys dropped
Quick answers.
No. An anonymous upload would be a document with nobody behind it. A client who must send a file uses the portal's evidence request.
The link is built on a random token rather than your organisation's slug.
More in Clients & Matters.
Internal threads for the team, client threads the client reads in the portal, and one history of every channel.
A client is a record with contacts, not a name typed on a matter — and duplicates merge without losing anything.
Share a matter, a workflow, a document or a draft with the client; they sign in with a one-time link, upload evidence, answer questions and approve drafts.
